Is a solar camera tower cheaper than a security guard?

Usually, yes. A camera tower watches the site every night of the week for a weekly hire fee, while a guard is paid by the hour. Many builders use cameras with control-room monitoring instead of an overnight guard.

Do the cameras need power or Wi-Fi?

No. They run on solar panels and batteries and send footage over the 4G mobile network, so no trenching, cabling or site Wi-Fi is needed.

How long do the batteries last without sun?

3–5 cloudy days in a row, and they recharge as soon as the sun is back.

What happens when someone enters the site?

AI detects the person or vehicle, the strobe and siren go off, and an alert is sent. A control-room operator then reviews the footage and responds. Monitoring is included on every hire.

Can I watch the cameras on my phone?

Yes, live and recorded footage, 24/7, from the app.
