Why NDAA compliance matters
Section 889 of the US National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibits video surveillance and telecommunications equipment from a specific list of high-risk manufacturers. It has become the benchmark security buyers use to screen camera hardware, and Australian government agencies have removed cameras from those same manufacturers from their own sites. For a council or agency, choosing NDAA-compliant equipment means your footage, your network and your procurement file are not exposed to hardware that has already been ruled out elsewhere.

Our cameras and detection equipment come from manufacturers that publish formal NDAA compliance statements. Their platforms use NIST-certified cloud communication and have been through independent penetration testing.
Grade A1 control-room monitoring
Alarms are handled by two ASIAL-certified Grade A1 monitoring centres, the highest grading available, with R1A redundancy so calls and alerts switch between centres within seconds. The centres comply with AS 2201.2:2022, are ISO 27001 certified for information security, and every operator is police-checked and holds state security accreditation.
Encrypted, fail-safe connectivity
Each unit connects through dual-SIM routers that fail over automatically between networks. Traffic is encrypted over a managed VPN, and our connectivity provider is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Detection that deters
AI detection recognises people and vehicles after hours and triggers a strobe and siren while the control room is alerted. Systems record 24/7 in 4K, and authorised staff can view live and recorded footage from a smartphone app.

We don't just drop a standard unit and hope it suits. For councils we have fitted solar camera systems directly to existing street-light and floodlight poles, using custom-fabricated solar panel brackets and camera box mounts that clamp to the pole.
