How much does construction site camera hire cost in Queensland?
The cost of hiring solar CCTV for a building site depends on six things. Knowing them helps you compare quotes properly, because two quotes with the same weekly rate can end up very different once monitoring, delivery and removal are added.
The six things that set the price
- Number of cameras and units. A single residential block may need one unit; a civil corridor or large commercial site several. Specialist units such as number-plate recognition (ANPR) and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cost more than a standard unit. See our camera units.
- Hire length. Longer hires bring the weekly cost down. VSG's minimum hire is 8 weeks.
- Monitoring. A recording-only camera is cheaper, but nobody responds until you check it. VSG includes 24/7 monitoring by an ASIAL Grade A1 control room in every hire.
- Location. Delivery and service across SEQ, Wide Bay and Toowoomba can vary with distance from our Landsborough base. See our service areas.
- Site access and mounting. Concreting a pole in, using a temporary base, or fitting to existing infrastructure each take different time. Our pole systems are carried in by hand, so tight sites are not a problem.
- Extras. Optional timelapse of your build, extra signage, or re-positioning as the build moves.
